Living Well Without Salt

MacMillan St. Martin's has produced a Web page with the No-Salt, Lowest Sodium Cookbooks they published. Seventeen years ago they had the "courage" to introduce a no-salt cookbook while scores of others turned down the concept. We still have some of those rejections. One in particular I like. "Nobody, but nobody can cook or survive without salt." It's kind of like a rejection letter I received from a friend who was head of RKO Pictures. This was in 1980. "Thanks for the idea Don, but our research shows that marketing movies on video tapes just will not happen."
